My experience with Corinne restores my faith in the realty profession. Prior to working with Corinne, I’d had some rather unfortunate experiences with realtors and some horrible behaviors (e.g., documented lying, pressure in service of the realtor, etc.). As such, I decided that when seeking to purchase my next home, I would enter into a multiple representation agreement to reduce realtor influence by one and be ultimately responsible for my negotiation without influence. As such, I decided that when seeking to purchase my next home, I would enter into a multiple representation agreement to reduce realtor influence by one and be ultimately responsible for my negotiation without influence. I contacted a listing agent to see a unit that was for sale and 5 minutes later I was in a conversation with Corinne. From the first contact, Corinne was: efficient, affable, knowledgeable, professional, emotionally intelligent, and dedicated. When seeing the unit in question, Corinne even took the time to show me the other units in the building that were for sale (note: I had reached out to one of the listing agents for one of the properties and he did not return my message for approximately one week). Within days, we had signed a multiple representation agreement and had begun negotiations. Corinne was clear in the purpose of and responsibilities under such an agreement and she honoured and respected all. Hours later, the agreement was executed and all parties were happy (myself most importantly, the sellers and the realtor). Even post-transaction, Corinne has very thoughtfully reached out to suggest some helpful advice. I highly recommend two things: use Corinne Marks for all things realty and use her exclusively.

Corinne served as my broker for 3 transactions: a condo purchase and subsequent lease and a condo lease of a unit I already owned. Keep in mind that I was residing in another country during all this time so Corinne basically took care of everything on my behalf. For the condo I already owned, Corinne exceeded expectations. Through her networking and marketing efforts, she secured (without the assistance of a buyer broker) two excellent tenants who were able to move in immediately after the old tenant departed. She coordinated with the departing tenant, condo, and property management company to ensure a very smooth transition. She even did a cleaning of the unit for the new tenants. For the purchase of the new condo, Corinne was able to negotiate an excellent purchase price. Her attorney's recommendation was outstanding. Corrine remained optimistic and hard-working throughout, frequently updating me and always responding to texts and emails in under 12 hours (often much quicker). She suggested virtually staging the unit, which I had not considered for a rental, and it had an immediate positive effect. She even paid for the cost. As in the first rental, she personally cleaned the unit prior to the tenant's move-in. Overall I highly recommend Corrine to anyone looking to buy, sell, or lease real estate. I would definitely use her again.
